Resilience

Resilience (from latin resilire, 'jumping back', 'bouncing off') or psychic resilience is the ability to manage crises and use them as an opportunity for development through the use of personal and socially-mediated resources. Related to resilience are development of health (salutogenesis), resilience (hardiness), coping strategy and self-preservation (autopoiesis).
